Job Description:
The Registered Nurse in the Telemetry unit is responsible for providing care to patients with a variety of medical conditions including cardiac and general medical needs. The role requires proficiency in trach care, chest tube care, post-Cath Lab care, and central line maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Reading, interpreting, and measuring cardiac rhythm.
- Caring for patients on BiPAP and high flow O2.
- Managing titratable drips such as diltiazem, amiodarone, heparin, digoxin, Bumex, and Lasix.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience, with at least 2 years total if a first-time traveler.
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS.
- Experience with Epic EMR.
