Telehealth Nurse in Portland, Oregon. This position involves delivering coordinated nursing care to patients within a telemetry specialty environment. The role requires supervising nursing staff, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and providing comprehensive patient care according to established standards and the nursing process.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; acute care facility experience preferred; valid Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; American Heart Association - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (AHA-ACLS) or American Red Cross - Advanced Life Support (ARC-ALS) certification required.
- Essential Functions: Collects relevant patient health data; analyzes assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues; develops and implements care plans; evaluates progress and adjusts interventions as needed; collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers; provides patient education; participates in discharge planning; delegates and coordinates healthcare team duties; performs additional designated duties.
