Job Summary:
Telemetry (TELE) registered nurses are needed for a day shift assignment at a healthcare facility located in Thornton, Colorado. This position involves providing specialized nursing care to telemetry patients, including monitoring cardiac rhythms and responding to patient needs. Candidates will join a team dedicated to high-quality patient care and teamwork in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Dayshift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications, minimum 1-year current acute care telemetry nurse experience, work authorization in the location
  • Preferred Qualifications: NIH Certification, trauma/orthopedic experience, neuro/stroke experience
  • Additional Information: The unit has 18 beds and includes telemetry monitoring with GE wireless telemetry boxes and Welch Allen vital sign machines. Typical procedures include neurovascular checks, orthopedic precautions, and comprehensive pain control. The team values a positive attitude, teamwork-oriented mindset, and has several staff members with over 10 years of experience. The unit frequently manages trauma cases such as blunt force trauma, poly trauma, spinal cord injuries, gunshot wounds, and stabbings, as well as standard tele patient care such as chest pain, stroke workups, and chronic cardiac conditions like CHF, atrial fibrillation, and traumatic brain injuries.
