Job Description:

The Registered Nurse in the Telemetry unit is responsible for providing direct nursing care to patients, monitoring cardiac and vital signs, and performing a range of advanced nursing procedures. The role may require floating to other NorthShore facilities as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to Telemetry patients.
• Monitor and interpret patient cardiac and vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document patient care and progress.
• Float to like units as required.

Requirements:

• 2 years of MS/TEL experience required.
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications and passing EKG test required at submission.
• 3 years of experience preferred.
• Ability to float to other NorthShore facilities as needed.
