Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in telemetry nursing in Denver, Colorado. This role involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, along with health teaching, counseling, and treatment support to promote patient well-being.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing) Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing, current license as a Registered Nurse in Colorado, BLS (American Heart Association) certification, and 3 years of nursing experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree of Nursing and appropriate certifications for the unit or service.
- Responsibilities include assessing health data, executing therapy and treatment plans, performing delegated medical functions, patient referrals, documentation, and resource utilization. Nurses may be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications, and may be placed on-call during scheduled shifts.
- Additional Information: The role requires compliance with all hospital and regulatory documentation standards, and adherence to the organizations mission, vision, and values.
