Job Summary:
Telemetry Nurse Various Locations. This role involves providing direct patient care within a hospital setting on a 28-bed cardiac telemetry unit. The position requires implementing and monitoring patient care plans, assessing patient conditions, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality care. The nurse will also coordinate discharge planning and respond effectively to patient needs in a Level I trauma center environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. The assignment runs from 09/06/2026 to 12/05/2026.
- Required Qualifications: Valid Nursing license (Nursys License), current drivers license or state ID, professional profile, and three professional references. Prior experience in telemetry nursing preferred; minimum of 1 year experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a trauma center or cardiac telemetry unit.
- Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The role supports care on cardiac telemetry units, caring for patients with various cardiac needs including post-operative care. The unit employs virtual sitter technology and monitor technicians to assist with telemetry monitoring. The team is supported by patient care technicians and a unit secretary. Travelers may be scheduled for up to 6 weekend shifts within a 6-week period and holiday coverage if needed.
