Position: Registered Nurse – Cardiovascular Stepdown/Telemetry
Contract: 13 weeks
Start: ASAP (exact date depends on EPIC experience/training schedule)
Schedule: Rotating 4×12-hour shifts, days & nights
Weekend: Every other weekend
What They're Looking For
This facility needs a strong cardiac/telemetry RN who is comfortable caring for patients recovering from cardiac surgery after ICU.
Key clinical experience required:
- Strong cardiac telemetry / CV Stepdown experience
- Experience caring for CVSD (Cardiovascular Stepdown) patients
- Strong understanding of cardiac dysrhythmias/arrhythmias
- Experience managing chest tubes
- Ability to care for post-cardiac surgery patients transitioning from ICU
- Comfortable working with telemetry monitoring
Requirements
- 2+ years RN experience
- Active VA or Compact RN license in hand at submission
- BLS
- ACLS
- Strong CV Stepdown/Telemetry experience
- EPIC experience preferred/important for start-date planning
13-week CV Stepdown/Telemetry travel assignment seeking a strong cardiac RN with 2+ years of experience, chest tube and dysrhythmia management, BLS/ACLS, and active VA or Compact license.
