What the Facility Wants (Requirements & Expectations)
Experience & Qualifications
- Experience Required: Minimum 1 year of PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience required. First-time travelers are accepted.
- License & Certifications: Active NJ or compact license required at the time of submission.
Clinical & Unit Overview
- Floating Requirements: Floating is required to like units only (travelers will not float outside their scope).
- Charting System: EPIC (required).
- On-Call: No on-call required.
Scheduling & Unit Policies
- Weekends & Holidays: Every other weekend requirement (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) and 1 holiday required. Block scheduling cannot be accommodated.
Submission & Compliance Notes
- RTO: Must be provided at the time of submission and cannot be added afterward.
- Interview Availability: Provide a range of 3–5 potential interview days to prioritize submittal.
- Local Policy: Local travelers accepted at a rate differential (50-mile local radius).
- Compliance Clearances: Travelers must complete labs within 48 hours of signing. Valid state license, references, and copies of certifications are required at submission. A clinical pass/fail exam is required during clearance (maximum 3 attempts).
