Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Rehabilitation Floor (MS REHAB) in a healthcare facility. This position involves providing specialized care for adult patients on a 30-bed unit focused on Stroke and Brain injury rehabilitation, with occasional patients with Neuro diagnoses such as Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and Parkinsons disease, as well as Musculoskeletal disorders post-operation. The role requires managing a variety of clinical tasks aligned with the patient population and unit needs, such as wound care, IV therapy, and catheterization.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Evening shift, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Active license/certificate verification, minimum one year of experience in a related healthcare setting, proficiency in EPIC documentation, competency in PICC line care and blood draws, administration of IV antibiotics, TPN, tube feeding (nasogastric, gastrostomy, and gastrojejunostomy tubes), EKG interpretation, wound care including VAC dressings and simple dressings, Foley catheter and intermittent catheterization, bladder irrigation, tracheostomy care, blood transfusions, and management of ostomies and drains (such as JP drains).
