Responsibilities
- Provide post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgery.
- Monitor patient vital signs and administer medications as necessary.
- Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Educate patients and families on post-operative care and recovery processes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a PACU or related setting.
- MA RN License required.
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required.
- Experience with scrub and circulate roles is essential.
- Flexibility to work variable shifts and take call on nights, weekends, and holidays.
