Job Summary:
Pediatric Floor Nursing in a healthcare facility setting. This position involves providing comprehensive patient care to pediatric patients, performing nursing assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of therapeutic care, all in accordance with national standards and facility policies. The role emphasizes compassionate bedside care, collaboration with families and the healthcare team, and prioritization of patient safety and well-being.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Day shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid and unrestricted State of California Registered Nurse (RN) License; minimum of 1 year of nursing experience; proficiency with Cerner Electronic Medical Records (EMR); current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Preferred Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited registered nursing program with an associate or bachelors degree
- Additional Information: The role requires knowledge of advanced nursing theories, medical terminology, client-centered care principles, medication administration, infection control, critical thinking, nursing judgment, and nursing techniques
