RN Job Requirements

• Active Illinois RN license in hand
• Current BLS and PALS certifications
• At least 1 year of registered nursing experience required; pediatric nursing or emergency department experience is a plus
• Epic experience preferred; candidates without Epic experience may need additional training before start
• Ability to work rotating weekends and maintain a flexible, patient-focused approach
• Travel nurses should submit under their legal first and last name

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients in an emergency care setting
• Perform triage, patient assessments, and ongoing monitoring
• Support providers with treatment, documentation, and care coordination
• Administer medications and interventions according to nursing standards and unit protocols
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and the care team
• Maintain accurate charting and contribute to a safe, efficient clinical workflow
