Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license
• At least 2 years of pediatric nursing experience
• Minimum 1 year of pediatric GI or gastroenterology nursing experience
• Previous ambulatory nursing or outpatient clinic experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• BLS certification from AHA required
• ACLS certification from AHA required
• Strong communication, organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary outpatient healthcare environment
• Intermediate computer skills and comfort using electronic health record tools

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate pediatric nursing care for GI patients in an outpatient clinic setting
• Perform phone triage, care coordination, and follow-up communication with patients and families
• Support clinic flow with chart preparation, medication reconciliation, referrals, and patient education
• Document and manage in-basket work in Epic EMR
• Assist with interpretation of lab and imaging results and route information appropriately
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary pediatric care team to support treatment plans and patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate records and deliver high-quality, family-centered care
