Job Summary:
A Pediatric Nurse Practitioner position is available in Baltimore, Maryland, within a pediatric specialty clinic focused on pediatric cardiology. This role involves supporting clinical operations, managing patient care, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. The position offers an opportunity to work in a renowned healthcare organization dedicated to pediatric health.
Job Details:
- Location: Main Level of the Bloomberg Childrens Center, Baltimore, MD
- Schedule: Days shift, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with no weekends, call, or holidays
- Required Qualifications: Current Nursing License; BLS certification; at least 2 years of current Pediatric Medical-Surgical experience
- Preferred Qualifications: EPIC electronic health record system experience; experience with Pediatric Cardiology and Congenital Heart Care
- Responsibilities: medication review, patient education, reviewing after visit summaries, managing the EPIC in-basket; supporting Certified Medical Assistants with clinical concerns; coordinating care and managing patient and caregiver needs including prescription refills, triaging calls, medication reconciliation, chart reviews, and collaboration with pharmacy, social work, and nutrition disciplines.
- Experience: No minimum years of experience specified beyond the required qualifications.
- Additional Information: Candidates with previous employment within any Johns Hopkins facilities must have completed at least one full year away before applying as a traveler.
