Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) registered nurse position available in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing safe, therapeutic, and patient-centered nursing care for an assigned group of patients. The nurse will utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, and will collaborate with the healthcare team to promote quality outcomes. The schedule is dayshift with hours from 07:00 to 19:30, totaling 36 hours per week.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Dayshift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: California Registered Nurse (RN) license, certifications in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and National Institute of Health (NIH) Stroke Scale, ventilator experience (required), intensive care unit (ICU) step-down experience (required), ICU skill set (required), transplant experience (preferred), at least three years recent RN experience in the role, at least two years recent RN experience in a specialty area, BSN or ADN degree.
- Preferred Qualifications: Transplant experience.
- Additional Information: The registered nurse will deliver individualized, age-specific care following the nursing process, serve as advocate for patients and families, and manage complex clinical situations by collaborating with the healthcare team.
