Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse – Nights | Southern Illinois Healthcare (SIH)
Southern Illinois Healthcare (SIH) is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for its Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This is a night shift (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) position with a 4:1 patient ratio, every other weekend and holidays, and optional overtime. Preferred schedules will be accommodated when possible.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care.
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition using clinical judgment.
- Educate patients and families on care plans.
- Maintain accurate medical records and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team.
- Provide care for a diverse cardiac and respiratory patient population.
Requirements:
- Current Illinois RN license
- BLS/CPR certification
- ACLS certification
