Progressive Care Unit (PCU) RN – Rockford, IL

Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
Contract: 5 Weeks
Start Date: 09/08/2026
Schedule: Every 3rd Weekend + Rotating Holidays
Candidate Type: Travel Only
Radius Rule: 50 Miles

MANDATES:

• Active IL RN License
• BLS – AHA
• ACLS – AHA
• No RQI certifications accepted
• 2+ years of PCU/Progressive Care or Intermediate Care experience
• Cardiac patient experience
• Experience with open-heart patients, TAVR, Watchman & post-cardiac procedures
• Experience caring for higher-acuity IMC patients
• Experience with BiPAP, DKA, CIWA & titratable drips
• Travel experience required
• Must be willing to work every 3rd weekend and rotating holidays

Unit Details:
One IMC pod with 8 patients. Patient population includes new BiPAP patients, DKA, CIWA, and patients requiring titratable drips.
