AHS Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Tucson, Arizona.

Location: Tucson, AZ
Start Date: 8/31/2026
Contract: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
Schedule: 3x12s | 36 guaranteed hours
Specialty: PCU / Resource Float Pool
Interview: Not required
Requirements
- Level I Trauma experience REQUIRED
- Large hospital experience REQUIRED
- Minimum 1 year acute-care RN experience
- Must have recent PCU/specialty experience within the past 12 months
- BLS required
- Active Arizona or qualifying Compact RN license
- BSN and professional certifications preferred
Floating Expectations
This is a Resource Float Pool position covering both Banner Tucson campuses.
Travelers may float between:
- PCU
- IMC
- Observation
- Med/Surg
- Occasionally ED or PACU to care for inpatient/Adult Health patients awaiting placement
- Banner University Medical Center South, approximately 10 minutes from the main campus
Important
This position specifically states Level I Trauma AND large-hospital experience are required.
Cannot be an Arizona resident
