Job Summary
Progressive Care RN (PCU) The organization is seeking a Cardiovascular RN for a 13-week assignment starting from 09/14/2026. This role involves working in a 30-bed cardiac care unit that primarily manages patients with cardiac conditions, including acute coronary syndromes, arrhythmias, heart failure, and post-procedure care. The position offers a dynamic environment with rotating 12-hour shifts.

Job Details

  • Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Minnesota RN license, AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS), AHA or ARC Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHS) certification, Associate Degree or Certificate, 2 years of critical care experience, minimum of 1 year of experience preferred, and candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Previous travel experience (1-2 assignments), experience managing cardiac patients, telemetry interpretation, management of acute coronary syndrome, post-cardiac catheterization patient care, and knowledge of cardiac pharmacology.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required, including inpatient units such as oncology, neurology, orthopedics, med/surg, and Intensive Medical Care Unit (IMCU).
  • Additional Information: The role may involve low census periods with possible call responsibilities; call back minimum of 2 hours, and coverage on two weekends per month along with every other holiday. The unit features a patient ratio of 1:4, with Epic charting system highly preferred.
