PCU RN – Travel Contract
Location: Tucson, AZ
Specialty: PCU / Resource Float Pool
Shift: Nights – 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
Schedule: 36 hours scheduled / 24 hours guaranteed
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Overview
- Resource Float Pool position covering 2 campuses:
- BUMC-Tucson – Level I Trauma, 625 beds
- BUMC-South – Level IV Trauma, 245 beds
- May float across Observation, Med Surg, PCU, and IMC units.
- May occasionally care for Adult Health patients in the ED or PACU while awaiting an inpatient bed.
- Level I Trauma and large hospital experience required.
- Banner may cancel 1 shift during the assignment.
- Candidate must be flexible with locations, shifts, and departments.
Required Experience
- Minimum 24 months of PCU experience
- Recent PCU experience within the last 12 months
- Level I Trauma experience
- Large hospital experience
- Travel experience highly preferred
Required Certifications & Documents
- BLS – AHA, ARC, or ASHI
- ACLS – AHA, ARC, or ASHI
Active Arizona RN license with no license hits
