Job Summary:
Step Down Unit Registered Nurse (RN) position in Tennessee. This role involves providing specialized care for patients requiring intermediate monitoring and treatment. The position is scheduled for night shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on September 21, 2026. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of clinical experience, prior travel experience, and hold a Tennessee or compact nursing license.
Job Details:
- Location: 651 Dunlop Lane, Clarksville, Tennessee, 37040
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid Tennessee or compact nursing license, minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, prior travel experience, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
- Specialty: Step Down Unit (STEP DOWN)
- Float: Float to Medical-Surgical and Emergency Room as needed
- Orientation: Orientation scheduled for 09/14, 09/21, 09/28 (no orientation on 09/07 due to Labor Day). No block schedule offered; flexibility required to meet staffing needs.
- Other Details: No time off approved from 09/19 to 10/17 due to Epic Go Live. Scrubs navy, EMR: Cerner. Weekend shifts required. The unit has 21 beds with patient ratios of 1:4. The schedule is determined by the unit.
