Job Summary
The organization is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Step Down Unit position located in a healthcare facility in St. Louis, Missouri. This assignment involves providing specialized patient care for individuals with neurological disorders, strokes, and trauma. The selected candidate will deliver comprehensive nursing care utilizing the nursing process, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes during a 13-week assignment starting on 09/07/2026.
Job Details
- Shift: Nights, 1900-0730
- Schedule: Nights, 12 hours shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Current RN license meeting Missouri state licensure criteria, BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA, 1 year of experience in a Step Down Unit, inpatient care experience required
- Preferred Qualifications: Neuro and trauma experience preferred
- Float: Float rotation within service lines including Cardiac, Surgical, and Medical Step Down units
- Position Location: 10010 Kennerly Road, St. Louis, MO 63128
- Additional Responsibilities: Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care, maintains patient rights and confidentiality, evaluates care effectiveness, and coordinates patient care with ancillary departments. Requires physical ability to meet demands of the unit and high-risk exposure to blood and body fluids.
- Personnel Requirements: Resilient, adaptable, team player, patient-focused, with scrubs in black.
