Job Summary:
Step Down Unit RN in a healthcare facility located in an unspecified location. This position involves providing specialized care on a step-down or intermediate care unit, with flexible placement based on the immediate needs of the organization. The assignment runs from August 30, 2026, to November 28, 2026, with a focus on delivering quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Active nursing license (Nursys License) verification, drivers license or state ID, professional profile, two professional references, and a current resume.
- Preferred Qualifications: Two years of experience in progressive care unit (PCU), step-down, or medical-surgical telemetry acute care. Experience with electronic health records (EPIC) systems is preferred.
- Float: Float to other units within skill set or to sites within 40 miles may be required.
- Additional Information: The candidate must have completed a Step Down (PCU) specialty exam and skills validation. Previous travel experience is preferred. This role requires on-site flexibility within designated skill areas and locations.
