Job Summary:
A Registered Nurse specializing in Step Down Unit located in the area. The position involves providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on patients requiring close monitoring and specialized care. The role requires adaptability to care for a diverse patient population, including stroke, cardiac, post-operative, and general medical patients.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, proof of license/certificate verification, driver's license or state ID, professional profile, two professional references, and an updated resume.
- Preferred Qualifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale certification, at least 2 years of Medical Surgical (MS) or Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) experience, adaptability to a variety of patient cases including stroke, cardiac (preferably with experience in cardiac drips), post-operative, and general medical patients, electronic health record experience, and ability to float within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed.
- Additional Information: Candidates should be able to work within the specified start and end dates, from September 13, 2026, to December 12, 2026, and exhibit flexibility in care duties as needed.
