Genie Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Prescott, Arizona.

Seeking an experienced Travel RN for a Float Pool covering MedSurg Tele and PCU across two campuses, including inpatient holds in the ED. Travelers must be flexible and comfortable floating between units based on hospital needs.
Minimum Experience: 1+ year of PCU experience required.
Unit & Patient Population
The float pool covers:
- PCU
- MedSurg Tele
- Inpatients holding in the ED
- Both East and West campuses
Patient populations include:
- Geriatric patients
- Orthopedic patients
- Post-cardiac catheterization patients
- Post-MI patients
- CABG patients, typically POD 3–4
- Post-procedural cardiac patients
- Patients requiring close monitoring and management of groin sites
Ratios
- PCU: 1:4
- MedSurg Tele: 1:5–6
- Nurse aides are utilized across all settings.
- Charge nurses do not take patient assignments.
Critical Skills & Drips
RNs are required to titrate drips and should be comfortable managing the majority of the following:
- Heparin
- Cardizem
- Amiodarone
- Nitro
- Dopamine
- Dobutamine
- Insulin
Telemetry: Nurses must be able to interpret cardiac rhythms. Monitor techs monitor PCU and MedSurg Tele units.
