Job Summary:
The facility is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Step Down Unit located in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This role involves providing patient care in a step-down setting, with an emphasis on adult and geriatric patient populations. The nurse will work in a rapidly evolving environment requiring clinical excellence, adherence to protocols, and effective communication with the healthcare team.
Job Details:
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required.
- Education & Experience: Must have at least 3 years of recent hospital acute experience, including 2 years in a similar step-down setting. Experience with Epic electronic medical record system within the last year is required.
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, minimum of 3 years hospital acute care experience, Epic experience within the last year, and a manager reference from the most recent assignment.
- Additional Information: Orientation includes 8 hours of non-billable modules prior to start date; completion required. No hits on licenses or backgrounds are accepted. Must note the Epic facility used if applicable.
- Fluency in documentation, patient assessment skills, and the ability to float to other units such as telemetry, ICU, or step-down units are preferred.
