Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in the region. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a specialized unit focused on cardiac and geriatric populations. The assignment requires a dedicated RN with a positive attitude and the ability to work flexible shifts.
Job Details
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, from 09/14/2026 to 12/14/2026
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, BLS certification, 2+ years of experience preferred, experience in cardiac care or Postoperative cardiac cath is a plus
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with CP, MI, Open Heart procedures, Watchmen, TAVR, post-op pacer care
- Float: Not normally floated but may float to 1:1s depending on needs
- Additional Information: Unit features include Pacer and Arterial Lines; patient ratios are RN 1:5, NA 10-12 (days) and 20-22 (nights). Must have a positive attitude and a flexible approach to shift times, including the possibility of working all shift schedules. Candidates must successfully complete all required screenings prior to start, including Pennsylvania and FBI fingerprinting, child abuse history clearance, and state police background check.
