Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift with 12-hour shifts; minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: 2 years of nursing experience, ACLS and BLS certifications, experience working with trachs, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience with Cerner electronic medical record system, prior background in step-down or progressive care units.
- Additional Information: The unit has a total of 39 beds (23 step-down, 16 medical-surgical). Typical procedures include trach care, chest tube management, and wound dressing changes. The unit utilizes lifts, chest tubes, cardiac drips, and stable vented patients with trachs. The environment values flexibility and a high level of clinical competence. The candidate must adhere to a navy blue scrub dress code and follow unit policies.
