Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position located in a general healthcare facility. The role involves providing specialized patient care primarily for adult populations with cardiac and post-cardiac catheterization needs. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing telemetry equipment, monitoring patient vitals, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The assignment is scheduled to start on 09/14/2026 and end on 12/14/2026, with shifts during daytime hours.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, BSN or equivalent degree, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications, 2 years of clinical experience in step-down or intensive care units, must meet minimum experience requirements, and must be willing to work days shifts
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in telemetry, cardiac patient care, and post-cardiac cath lab procedures; team-oriented with good communication skills and flexibility
- Additional Information: Unit cares for patients with cardiac observation, post-cardiac catheterization, cardioversions, and adult populations with telemetry equipment on a 22-bed unit. The unit emphasizes team collaboration and requires flexible and professional communication. Dress code mandates navy scrubs, and offensive attire is not permitted.
