Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Panama City, Florida. The RN ensures the delivery of high-quality care by following patient care plans, supervising nursing staff, and participating in patient assessments and discharge planning. This position emphasizes patient and staff safety, team collaboration, and professional growth.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification prior to first shift; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required prior to first shift (CIRH only); minimum of two (2) years of bedside clinical experience; relevant certifications, education, and experience as listed.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a progressive care or similar unit is advantageous.
- Additional Information: Performs nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission, develops individualized care plans, and initiates discharge planning from day one. Provides patient education, documents all care accurately, and participates in team activities to promote a safe and effective work environment. Assumes charge responsibilities following orientation and actively pursues professional development through continuing education.
