Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) with specialization in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) located in Vermont. The role involves providing postoperative patient care on a rotating day/evening shift schedule. The successful candidate will have experience with pediatric (Peds) and gynecologic (GYN) patient populations and hold current certifications including Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). Orientation sessions are held biweekly, and schedule requests are subject to managerial approval.
Job Details:
- Location: Rutland, Vermont
- Position: RN/PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit)
- Schedule: Rotating day/evening shifts, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid license in any state (Vermont license must be applied for upon acceptance), BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications, experience with Pediatric (Peds) and GYN patients, minimum of 1 year of experience, willing to work in Rutland, Vermont
- Preferred Qualifications: Cerner Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience, prior experience in post anesthetic recovery settings
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: IVS to review; manager will make a final offer. Orientation is held biweekly. Prior to submission, the profile packet must include accurate work history with facility details, employment gaps explained, and verification of all qualifications.
