The organization is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) for a 13-week assignment in Saint Albans, VT. This full-time role involves working daytime shifts, providing perioperative care for patients recovering from anesthesia, and managing a variety of patient needs within the ambulatory setting. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to patient recovery processes within a dynamic healthcare environment.
Job Details:
- Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
- Location: Saint Albans, VT
- Shift: Days, 8 hours shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- Schedule: 40 hours per week, for a duration of approximately 13 weeks from 08/31/2026 to 11/29/2026
- Required Qualifications: Valid current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Vermont (VT RN license) or a Compact State RN license; 2-3 years of RN experience in PACU or related specialty; BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications; IV certification.
- Additional Information: The assignment involves participating in weekend call for approximately 48 hours every 13 weeks, which occurs 1-2 times during the assignment. Residing outside a 50-mile radius of the location is required.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
