• Schedule: Every other weekend required

Job Requirements

• Active RN license
• Minimum 3 years of current or recent Telemetry / Med Surg experience
• Current Epic EMR proficiency required
• Must be able to read Telemetry / BCRA and pass competency testing on day one
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong clinical judgment and the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Willingness to float to other Med-Surg areas as needed, including Respiratory, Stroke, Cardiac, and possibly the ED if appropriately skilled

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in the PACU / Observation setting
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes with professionalism and urgency
• Float to other Med-Surg units when needed based on patient care demands
• Support care for patients with respiratory, stroke, cardiac, and related medical needs
• Accurately document care and communicate effectively with the care team using Epic
• Maintain strong telemetry interpretation skills and uphold clinical competencies
• Contribute to a collaborative, patient-centered environment focused on safe outcomes
