Job Summary
Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse (RN) position available in a healthcare facility. This role involves working in a specialized unit that provides immediate post-operative care for patients recovering from anesthesia. The position requires experience with Epic electronic medical record system and includes a six-week schedule with on-call responsibilities.
Job Details
- Schedule: Evenings shift from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, experience in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), Epic electronic medical record experience, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification. No minimum experience required beyond demonstrated competency.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) is preferred.
- Additional Information: On-call responsibilities include weekday call from 8:30 PM to 7:30 AM, totaling 8 weekday call shifts within the six-week schedule. Weekend calls run from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM, with 4 weekend call shifts during the same period. The assignment spans from 08/31/2026 to 11/29/2026.
- Submission Requirements: Prime Skills Checklist, Prime Resume, Prime Reference #1, Prime Reference #2 required for submission.
