• Shift Schedule: Day shifts with varied start times (8a-8p, 9a-9p, or 10a-10p)
• Call Requirements: One night per week and two weekends during the contract
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,460-$1,540

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of PACU, ICU, or related perioperative nursing experience preferred
• ACLS certification required
• Strong clinical judgment and comfort caring for post-operative patients
• Ability to work a flexible schedule with call coverage
• Positive, easygoing, and team-oriented demeanor
• Experience with Meditech is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to patients recovering from anesthesia and surgery in the PACU
• Monitor vital signs, pain levels, airway status, and post-operative recovery closely
• Support recovery for a variety of surgical cases, including general, neuro, oncology, orthopedic, and vascular procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the surgical team to ensure smooth transitions of care
• Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns as needed
• Float to Day Surgery as needed
• Follow unit guidelines and ASPAN standards to promote excellent patient outcomes
