Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) specialty position located in an acute care hospital setting. The role involves providing perioperative care with a focus on trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic procedures. The position requires professionals experienced in trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic surgeries, with the flexibility to cover night shifts as needed. The assignment begins on 09/21/2026 and extends through 12/21/2026.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Dayshift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid state license (compact license accepted), at least 2 years of OR experience including trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic procedures. Certifications required include BLS.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in trauma Level I or II facilities, scrub experience in complex surgical procedures, and previous experience with the Epic charting system.
- Float: Yes, float rotation may be required between units.
- Additional Information: Night shifts may be covered once during the contract as needed. Candidates must be willing to work 3 of the 5 major holidays. Staffing involves the possibility of on-call duties, with distribution of call responsibilities every 6 weeks. All time spent on required modules is considered non-billable but necessary for compliance.
- Submittal Requirements: Must include responses regarding prior work at a Providence facility, with references covering one year within the last three years. Candidates should not contact the facility directly unless coordinated through the designated account manager.
