Job Title: RN – CVOR / Heart Team

Location: Rockford, IL
Shift: 10-hour Days | 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Call: Rotational call coverage, approximately one call per week. Weekend call may include either Saturday or Sunday (24-hour call), but not both.

Job Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) with 3+ years of CVOR experience
• Robotic surgery experience required
• Verifiable education required
• Strong experience working with cardiovascular/heart surgical teams
• Must be available for rotational call coverage
• No local candidates within 50 miles of the facility

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care for cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures.
• Assist the Heart Team throughout surgical procedures.
• Support robotic-assisted surgical procedures.
• Maintain patient safety and adhere to surgical protocols.
• Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the multidisciplinary OR team.
• Participate in scheduled rotational call coverage.
