Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in a healthcare facility located in the area. This position involves working in the surgical environment with a focus on supporting surgical procedures, maintaining sterile technique, and ensuring patient safety. The role requires flexibility to work rotating shifts and contribute to on-call responsibilities, including major holidays and weekends.
Job Details
- Shift: Rotating, 10-hour shifts, with potential shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM, or 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM
- Schedule: Rotating 4x10s, no block scheduling
- Required Qualifications: Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license; current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; at least 1 year of operating room experience; valid drivers license matching demographics; recent verification report showing active or conditional license within the past week; documented travel experience (first-time travelers will not be considered); two recent manager/supervisor references in the same specialty; skills checklist matching specialty; ability to work every other major holiday; flu vaccine during flu season; EMR experience preferred, specifically with EPIC.
- Additional Information: On-call responsibilities every 5-6 evenings until 7 AM the following day, and every 6th or 7th weekend. Scrub color can be any. Candidate must be flexible and fluid to accommodate changing schedules.
