Facility: 145-bed acute care hospital
ORs: 16 total

• Main OR: 10 rooms
• OR North: 6 rooms

Experience Required: 2+ years acute care OR experience
First-Time Travelers: Not accepted
Ratio: 1:1
EMR: Meditech preferred
Trauma Level: Level III

Must-Have Experience

Strong OR circulating experience across complex surgical cases.

Neuro and Robotics are MUST-HAVE skills.

Highest-priority experience:

• Robotics / Da Vinci XI
• Neuro
• Trauma

IV starts and scrub experience are preferred.

Floating

Required between Main OR and OR North, located within the same facility.

Call

Call is required:

• Approximately 1 weekend per month
  • Saturday and Sunday
  • 7:00 AM–7:00 PM or 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
• Approximately 1 overnight call shift per week
  • End of scheduled shift through 7:00 AM
• 30-minute response time
• No sleep rooms available
• May be placed on call for holidays

Scheduling

• Schedule created one month at a time
• Typically received approximately one month in advance
• Call trades may be allowed
• RTO requires manager approval

Support

Strong multidisciplinary OR support including:

• Charge RN without a patient assignment
• CSTs
• First Assists
• Surgeons
• Anesthesiologists
• Anesthesia Techs

• Management
