Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse position in a community-based healthcare facility. The role involves delivering high-quality perioperative nursing care, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring patient safety throughout surgical procedures. The position requires active supervision of clinical staff and adherence to established standards of care.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Rotating shift, 8 hours per shift, 40 hours per week. Start date is 08/24/2026 and end date is 11/22/2026.
- Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN); Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor; AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification; AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS certification; minimum 1 year of nursing experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in an acute care facility; Da Vinci surgical system experience; EPIC electronic health record experience.
- Additional Information: The nurse will collect relevant patient data, analyze assessment findings, develop and implement care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes. Responsibilities include patient education, discharge planning, delegation of duties, and collaboration with healthcare teams to provide safe, compassionate care. The facility emphasizes safety and compliance with vaccination requirements, with exemptions considered for medical or religious reasons.
