Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse located in an acute care setting. This position involves working in a facility that primarily handles orthopedic and neuro surgeries, with a focus on preparing for and supporting surgical procedures. The role includes completing a questionnaire as part of a profile review process and working on a rotating night and day shift schedule.
Job Details
- Schedule: 8-hour shifts, rotating nights initially, then switching to days at the end of October. The position runs from 08/31/2026 to 11/23/2026, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS), with at least 3 years of clinical experience in an operating room environment.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with EPIC charting system and Pyxis medication dispensing systems.
- Additional Information: The facility has a profile review process requiring candidates to complete a questionnaire reviewed by the clinical team. There are no trauma cases or ambulatory surgery center (ASC) cases. No trauma level designation is specified. Ultrasound, cysto, and dedicated heart rooms are part of the OR. Call availability exists but is not required.
