Job Details

• Location: Edenton, North Carolina
• Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse assignment
• Start Date: 09/14/2026
• End Date: 12/15/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Shift Duration: 8-hour day shifts
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,370 - $2,500
• Call Requirement: 1 day per week and every 4th weekend
• Schedule Notes: Weekday call is 3:00 PM to 7:00 AM; weekend call runs from 3:00 PM Friday to 7:00 AM Monday

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license
• At least 1 year of Operating Room experience preferred
• Previous PACU experience required for after-hours recovery support
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Ability to work in a collaborative surgical services environment
• Strong communication, organization, and critical thinking skills

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in the Operating Room for a variety of surgical cases
• Support primarily outpatient procedures with some inpatient cases
• Assist with cases including OB/GYN, C-sections, orthopedics, general surgery, urology, and endoscopy
• Deliver safe and efficient perioperative care throughout the surgical process
• Participate in call coverage as scheduled
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and perioperative team members to support excellent patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow established clinical and safety standards
• Step in to support post-anesthesia recovery needs when required after hours
