Job Duties:
The OR cares for a wide variety of patients. Specialties include orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, orthopedic, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, GYN, ENT, thoracic, oral-maxillofacial, and trauma (level 1 trauma center). There are 2 Davinci robots that are used by multi-services. The transplant program involves livers, kidneys, and hearts.
Job Requirements:
- RN License (NY state license ONLY )
- Two (2) years operating room experience in a level 1 trauma preferred
- Able to scrub and circulate
- Telemetry is HIGHLY DESIRED
Certification(s):
- BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
-ACLS (PREFERED)
Preferred Surgical Experience:
- Specialty Cases (transplants, plastics, reconstructive)
- Craniotomy
- Strong Ortho background
Skills: Skill Required / Desired Amount of Experience Expertise Rating Move RN License (NY License ONLY) Required BLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY) Required Two (2) Years Experience in operating room Required 2 Years Level 1 trauma hospital experience Highly desired ACLS (Preferred) Highly desired Able to scrub and circulate Required Telemetry Highly desired
