Position Summary: Our Client is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room (OR) who can remain calm and focused in a fast-paced surgical environment. The RN will be responsible for providing comprehensive patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures, assisting the surgical team, monitoring patients, and ensuring patient safety. The ideal candidate should have strong clinical and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining a professional and compassionate approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients, surgical rooms, and equipment for scheduled procedures.
- Assist surgeons and other members of the surgical team during procedures.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and overall condition throughout the surgical process.
- Administer medications, IVs, and treatments as ordered.
- Maintain strict aseptic and sterile techniques to prevent infections.
Requirements: Minimum 2 years of experience ( Required ) Charting: EPIC experience required Must have an active Texas RN or a Compact RN license to Submit. Must have BLS (AHA)
