Local candidates accepted as well, pay for locals: $55 - $60/hr
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join a dynamic surgical services team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality perioperative nursing care, collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, and ensure patient safety throughout the surgical process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the Operating Room setting.
- Provide direct nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
- Monitor patient status and respond appropriately to changes in condition.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Educate patients and families regarding procedures and post-operative care.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory guidelines.
- Review and monitor treatment plans and patient outcomes.
- Support infection prevention and patient safety initiatives.
- Float to other departments within scope of practice as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Active Colorado or compact state RN License.
- 1+ year of experience as a RN OR.
- BLS (AHA) certification.
