Job Summary:
Operating Room Nurse (Registered Nurse) in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. This position involves providing perioperative nursing care within a Level 1 Trauma Center, supporting a wide range of surgical specialties. The role requires adherence to hospital protocols and collaboration with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, with a weekly guarantee of 40 hours.
- Required Qualifications: Valid licensure as an RN in Pennsylvania, ACLS certification, BLS certification, CPI/HWC certification. Candidates must have 2 years of nursing experience, with 1-2 years specific to operating room settings.
- Preferred Qualifications: Charge nurse experience, level 1 trauma experience, robotic surgery experience.
- Additional Information: Candidates must be willing to accept on-call duties and multiple shift times including 9 AM to 5 PM, 11 AM to 7 PM, 1 PM to 9 PM, 3 PM to 11 PM, and weekend daylight shifts. The unit serves patients of all ages, with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:1. The position is a contractor replacement.
