Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse position is available in a healthcare facility. This role involves floating between units and requires on-call availability during weekday nights, weekends, and holidays. The candidate will be responsible for supporting various surgical procedures with a focus on orthopedic, gynecological, sports medicine, and total joint surgeries.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Day shifts, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. The assignment is scheduled to start on 09/08/2026 and end on 12/08/2026.
- Required Qualifications: Valid state license (compact license must be in hand at submission), at least 2 years of OR experience, familiarity with charting systems (Epic), and certifications including ACLS and BLS.
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous charge nurse experience, experience with orthopedic mako procedures, GYN, sports medicine, total joint surgeries, and experience in high-volume surgical environments.
- Special Requirements: Orthopedic mako experience, gynecology, sports medicine, and orthopedic total joints.
- Additional Information: The role demands the ability to perform procedures such as hysterectomy, blood administration, spine surgeries, laparoscopic procedures, and more. Candidates should be flexible to float between units and work scheduled on-call shifts. Successful candidates must have documentation of two references covering at least one year within the last three years and be prepared to work during major holidays.
