Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse position in Salt Lake City, Utah. This role involves working in an OR unit with a focus on trauma and orthopedic procedures, utilizing da Vinci Robotics technology. The assignment is full-time, providing an excellent opportunity for experienced OR professionals to contribute to a busy surgical environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Dayshift, 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: RN license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; 2 years of OR experience, experience with da Vinci Robotics and orthopedic procedures mandatory; Vascular experience preferred; location in Utah required
- Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with vascular experience will be considered first; flexibility is desirable
- Additional Information: The unit operates 24-hour Trauma II staff with a staff of over 81 full-time equivalents. Typical team composition includes one charge nurse, three registered nurses, two certified nursing assistants, and 1-3 sitters during day shifts. The environment is equipped with electronic medical records (EPICT) and handles varied procedures excluding LVADs, transplants, and pediatric cases under 14 years of age.
