Job Description:

The OR cares for a wide variety of patients. Specialties include orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, orthopedic, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, GYN, ENT, thoracic, oral-maxillofacial, and trauma (level 1 trauma center). There are 2 Davinci robots that are used by multi-services. The transplant program involves livers, kidneys, and hearts.

Responsibilities:

• Provide care for patients in the operating room across multiple specialties.
• Utilize Davinci robots in surgical procedures.
• Participate in the transplant program.

Requirements:

• RN License (NY state license ONLY)
• Two (2) years operating room experience in a level 1 trauma required
• Able to scrub and circulate
• Telemetry experience is highly desired
• BLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY)
• ACLS Certification is preferred
