Job Summary:
Operating Room Technician (OR) in Farmington, Maine. This position involves supporting multi-specialty surgical procedures within a busy operating room environment. The role requires collaboration with surgical teams and adherence to safety and sterilization standards to ensure smooth perioperative processes.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift from 07:00 to 15:30, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Call coverage includes Saturday from 07:00 am to Monday 07:00 am, every 4-5 weekends.
- Required Qualifications: Certification in Surgical Technology, BLS (Basic Life Support). Education modules specific to surgical support are also required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in general, gynecology, urology, orthopedic, podiatry, or cataract surgery preferred.
- Float: When needed, float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The role involves working with surgical equipment such as Storz, Conmed, Steris, and Medivator. Candidates must wear scrubs provided by the organization and shoes that are solely worn in the operating room setting. No unacceptable attire is allowed.
